Pass It By

In this gotta have it world
there’s plenty that I’ll never need
I can do without religion
but not without morality
And politics, another thing
I’d just as soon eschew
I don’t need unfounded opinion
uttered by fools and charlatans
There’s a lot in life that I can pass by
there’s little that I’ve found that I must have
That’s not to say I can’t enjoy such things as
a steak, some sippin’ whiskey and some pleasant company
