Presto Chango

Starin’ at a hunk of beef
to see what I can see,
perhaps a pot of soup
Sharpen up the kitchen knife
whack that beef to chunks,
sauté in a big cast iron pot
Add some fresh veggies and pasta
with red and white kidney beans
and strong beef broth plus spicy stuff
Pour in red wine, stir and cook a bit
soon savory aroma will take over --
presto chango --pasta fazoole
